he German Fetish Ball on the Saturday evening is the climax of many highlights of the long GFB weekend and one of the most popular parties for fetishists and BSDMer from all over the world because, with around 1800 guests expected, it is not only Germany’s biggest, but also one of the oldest fetish and BDSM events in the world. Die gebürtige Nürnbergerin und gelernte Krankenschwester kam durch ihre frühe Mottorradbegeisterung zum Material Leder. Es entstand der Wunsch, Modedesign zu studieren, den sie sich Mitte der 90iger erfüllte und mit einer Ausbildung zur Damenschneiderin/ Schnittdirektrice komplettierte und von da an beruflich ausübte. Der Umzug nach Hamburg vor 16 Jahren brachte sie auch der " Szene" nahe, die sie vor allem wegen der fantasievollen Spiele und Outfits liebt. Anfangs schneiderte sie die Outfits nur für sich selbst und Freunde, Bekannte. Daraus entwickelte sich immer mehr. Bis Anfang 2010 fuhr die Mutter eines Sohnes immer noch zweigleisig, ist nun aber voll selbstständig. Karin lebt und arbeitet in ihrem zentral gelegenen Wohnatelier, wo sie Kunden gerne persönlich und umfassend berät und mit ihrer Sahne- schnitte, dem Birnenrahmkuchen und Kaffee verwöhnt. " Ich verwirkliche Kundenwünsche, die es aufgrund der einzigartigen Vorstellung des Einzelnen noch nicht gab. Ich mache erotische Maßanfertigung, fernab von Stangenware, ganz nach den Bedürfnissen des Kunden. Der Entstehungsprozeß wird gemeinsam genossen..."
Karins Speziaität ist Leder, aber sie verarbeitet auch gerne edle Materialien wie Seide, Spitze, Ferdern, und Pelz- Latex machen genug Andere.
Die Outfits sind spartenübergreifend edel. " Ich habe ein faible für erotische Abendbekleidung, z.B. im Stile der O und es macht mir Spaß, kleine und große Showkonzepte zu verwirklichen." Die Preise bewegen sich im gehobenen Level, da alles auf Maß geschneiderte Modell-Arbeit ist.
